Dramatic and gorgeous Jean Marie Poinot was a fabulous artisan acrylics designer, he worked for Chanel, Dior, Lanvin, Gaultier, his work is incredible, he was a master of acrylics. Wonderfully polished and smooth, each piece of his jewelry is a masterpiece.

Fabulously huge crucifix, cross in carved and laminated acrylic. Almost like two crosses laminated together. The tips of each of the arms of the cross have a wonderful pattern of gold dots - it is a piece of silk fabric under clear acrylic, laminated onto the black acrylic adding that wonderful effect. 

The piece is suspended from a thick black cord and can easily be restyled with leather or chain. The craftsmanship and scale make it a wearable as an art object — dramatic, rare, and exquisitely Parisian.
