February Notes

Last week in Dubai, I attended the Alberta Ferretti show wearing my French signed Poggi oversized pearl necklace. I had to start the month with those pearls : something this year shifted and they always bring my body back to the moment.

When I arrived to the fitting, I was so happy to see everyone from the Alberta team that I met in Milan last season. I picked the leopard dress right away. It felt aligned from the start. I paired it with Alberta's signature gold flats, which gave me a very grounded, almost Egyptian pharaoh feeling. I went for a clean middle part and finished the look with a thin gold bracelet on my arm. 

This was my drawer at The Lana Hotel. It was filled with my favourite pieces for the month: things I kept reaching for without thinking. I like seeing them all together like this. It says a lot about where my head and taste were at that moment.

Then someone special gifted me a bleu Turquoise scarf from his trip to India, covered in birds. I love birds, so it felt so meaningful. I kept thinking that every bird on the scarf could be a little messenger for good news until the end of the year. I played dress-up with it and wore it with my favorite KJL pineapple drop earrings. Which are coming soon btw!

For meetings, I wore one of my all-time favorite outfits. This Italian 100% silk top is a constant for me, and I paired it with my favorite earrings (which are currently available on the store), a chic Prada bag, and my beloved Baum und Pferdgarten pants. This look feels like a mix of everything I love: leather, soft florals, elegance, all of it very similar to the perfume I wear every day: vanilla and amber. I got so many compliments. I loved the attention. 

I wore this look to have dinner at JARA restaurant, which I HIGHLY recommend when you're in Dubai. Delicious, romantic, with an incredible view. Anyway, I started with jewelry first, as this set speaks for itself, and then I added this brand new stunning black dress that I fully stole from my sister's hehe. My Karma: and then spent the entire night with the tags still on. Embarrassing? Yes. Did I notice too late? Also yes. Oh I forgot to mention this new furry bag: my newest obsession from ElleMe. 

I had an amazing week, one to remember. I am looking forward now to my next adventures at Milan and Paris Fashion week. Oh! And Happy Valentines! Cheers and Mwah
